The Self-Employment Support Program (Guided Transportation) aims to help workers in the activity of directing passenger transportation vehicles through applications. It is intended for those who work full-time in this activity and those seeking work

The program targets: Citizens (male, female) who wish to provide a passenger transportation service via applications using their own vehicle by joining vehicle guidance service providers, provided that they are not currently working in the government, private, or non-profit sector, or are a regular student, retired, or He has a commercial register (private business).

Application requirements:

• The applicant for support must be of Saudi nationality and hold a valid national ID.

• The age of the applicant for support must not be less than (20) years and not more than (60) years.

• The applicant for support must not be working in the government or private sector.

• The applicant for support must not be a regular student.

• The applicant for support must not be retired or have a commercial record.

• The applicant must have a valid and correct bank account number (IBAN).

• The applicant must have a valid self-employment document as a “directed transport vehicle driver.”

• The applicant must meet the requirements and requirements for “qualifying Saudi individuals and their private vehicles to provide transportation service through a vehicle routing application service provider” issued by the General Transport Authority.

• The applicant for support in this program must not be a current beneficiary of one of the support programs provided by the Human Resources Development Fund to support employment and training.

• The beneficiary of the support is committed to working to achieve the number of (21) trips, and the work period during the peak period is not less than (50%) of the total monthly working hours.

Support mechanism in the program:

• A monthly support amount is disbursed to the worker in this activity (directed transportation) at a rate of (40%) of his total monthly income, with a maximum support limit of (2,400) riyals per month. To obtain support, a commitment to achieving a number of (21) trips is required.
• Disbursement of incentive support in the amount of (3,000) riyals to the freelance worker benefiting from the support every (6) months. This support aims to achieve professional stability and increase productivity when the worker achieves a total monthly income of no less than (5,000) riyals for (6) consecutive months, while meeting the criteria. Performance related to work during peak times, so that the work period - during peak times - is not less than (50%) of the total time.
