What is the job search assistance program:

A program that supports job seekers to motivate them to enter the labor market, by providing financial aid for a period of 15 months starting with 2,000 riyals, in addition to providing a range of training and employment services to help them obtain work.

The program targets job seekers who enter the labor market during the first two years after completing education or training, and those who have been out of the labor market for more than two years.

Support mechanism:

• The duration of the subsidy disbursement is (15) months, and the value of the subsidy during it is as follows:

2000 riyals per month for (4) months

1500 riyals per month for (4) months

1000 riyals per month for (4) months

750 riyals per month for (3) months

• The job seeker registered in the program automatically benefits by linking his personal file to the Fund’s branches and centres, electronic training programs and other services.

Admission requirements:

The job seeker must meet the following eligibility conditions:

1. He must be of Saudi nationality.

2. He must be a permanent resident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a period of no less than (10) months during the period of submitting the application or during the period of disbursement of the aid.

3. Able to work and serious about searching for it.

4. He must be in the age group (20-40) years

5. He must not be an employee or worker in the public sector or the private sector.

6. He is not paid a retirement pension.

7. He is not paid any allowance or compensation against unemployment.

8. He is not paid a pension from Social Security.

9. He must not be a student or trainee at any stage of education or training.

10. He does not have a commercial activity.

11. The monthly income or wealth does not exceed the limit that prevents obtaining the aid.

12. He must not have previously benefited from the job search subsidy or the financial allowance due to the difficulty of obtaining work. The application may be accepted for anyone who has previously benefited, provided that the period of previous and subsequent disbursement does not exceed the period of disbursing the subsidy specified at fifteen months.

The application must be submitted within one of the following two periods:

• Before (24) months have passed from the date of the end of training or education.

• After (24) months have passed from the date of termination of work for those who have previously worked.
