Issuing / amending a commercial register (companies)

An electronic service provided by the Ministry of Commerce that enables the beneficiary to request the issuance of a commercial register and its approval, and obtain a membership number in the Chamber of Commerce, without the need to visit the Ministry’s branches.

Types of companies:

• Limited Liability Company ( 1-50 partners).
• Simple recommendation ( from 2 or more partners).
• Solidarity ( 2 or more partners).
• Professional ( 1-50 partners).

Requirements:

• The applicant must not be a government employee or one of the partners.
• The applicant and partners must be over 18 years of age.
• The applicant and partners must have an active account on Absher. (You can request registration in Absher from here ).

Expected time to implement the service:

• Check the appropriate activity 24 hours a day.
• Trade name reservation 3 - 10 minutes.
• Issuance of commercial register 1 hour.

• The service includes reserving a trade name for free (to learn about the terms of reserving a trade name, click here ).
• Partners can be individuals or companies.
• If there are foreign partners, there must be an investment license.
• A joint stock or holding company cannot be established electronically.
• Capital can be in kind, in cash, or both.
• Times are approximate and may be affected by technical issues.
